Fleece VS PUL for Diaper and Trainers:

When deciding on whether or not you want to try a fleece diaper or trainer, here's what to consider:
PUL (both solid and prints) is a laminated fabric - this is not breathable.
This makes for very good wetness barrier, but also does not allow for air flow.
With Snap-EZ Fleece Diapers and Trainers, there is not plastic layer
so the air can flow in and out making your child more comfortable.
This can be more of an issure for night time use as they are wearing the diaper so much longer!
For some parents this is important, and for others this is not.
Another difference is trimness - PUL is very trim and will allow for a better fit under clothing.
Fleece is not as trim and required loser clothing.
For this reason many parents use the Fleece for night time and/or at home
and use the PUL Diapers an Trainers for daytime and/or away from home.
In anycase, these are so soft and cuddly, I think everyone should try at least one
and judge for yourself if these are not the diapers of your dreams!

The scoop on what is the "right" fleece for you:

Windpro Fleece:

Very waterproof, least breathable of the fleeces but still more breathable than PUL.
Lightweight is very thin and midweight is about as thick as 200 weight.
Great for daytime and nighttime
Light Weight Windpro is almost as trim as microfleece!

300 Weight Fleece:

Quite waterproof, less breathable than 200 weight but more breathable than Windpro. It is bulkier than either, but also more huggy/snuggly than Windpro. Also good for nighttime or daytime.

200 Weight Fleece:

Mostly waterproof, Very breathable, less bulky than either the midweight Windpro or the 300 weight but can compression leak sometimes (when child is sitting/lying in one place for a while the wetness can wick out).

Due to the breathablility of the fleece, when the insert or soaker is saturated,
there can be a sense of dampness on the ouside of the diaper/trainer due to evaporation.
With the Fleece Pocket Diaper or Nap-EZ Stuffable Trainer,
this can be greatly lessened if you place a microfleece diaper liner
between the insert and the outer layer of fleece!
