It's been 8 days since I have my Epicondyle Release (tennis elbow surgery) and I wanted to take a few minutes to update all of you. I had to use the photo above, because the photo below may not be the first thing everyone wants to see. :) I will add more details relating to the above photo at the end. How's that for an attention grabbing title? :) I mentioned a while back that I was scheduled for elbow surgery on August 27th, and then it was rescheduled after my husband had to have emergency elbow surgery. What are the odds right? Well, surgery is now on the books for September 20th (10 days from now). For those that are interested, I thought I would share a bit more about my elbow and give a little update (hint: there's a new girl in the shop!). A New Season brings New Colors

This last weekend we spent 4 days in the foothills of the cascade mountains. We were in a wooded valley between Crystal Mountain and the more well known Mount Rainier. We were in an area with NO WiFi! It was glorious! (OK, there was WiFi- but you had to walk about a 100 yards from our cabin, and to be honest, I was happy to not have the option to look at my phone at all moments of the day). The weekend getaway involved 23 family members, 13 adults and 10 kids. Total age span: 22 months to 90 years old. 4 generations under one roof.
