I have no personal experience with cloth diapers and the other accessories that we manufacture and sell. I know, how crazy is it...I just bought a cloth diaper company and I have no personal experience using them.
Ok, that isn't entirely true. I did use cloth for a season with my oldest son (now 9 years old) but my husband hated it and that's a whole different story.
So, as the new owner I felt the need to sample the product and let you all know about my experience. Now, my youngest child is almost out of diapers, and to get the full experience I thought I should try out the product for me. So, I did. I used the cloth Feminine Pads for the first time...and I loved it!
I had actually been considering it for a while, but just hadn't found the time (or motivation) to do it. But now I wish I had started using them years ago!
One of my initial concerns was how easily it would absorb. See, I have a drawer full of towels in my kitchen and i know which ones will wipe up a spill and which ones are really of waste of space because they just push water around. And I didn't want that to happen, that seemed like a recipe for disaster. So, I washed them according to the directions and as stated, the micro-fleece did its job! It wicked away everything at the first sign on moisture.
I loved the different size options too. The small is perfect for the lighter days at the beginning and end of my period, the medium was great for daytime use and the large is just what I need for overnight.
Another thing that has given me problems in the past is chaffing from the plastic of disposable pads. I did not have any of that with the reusable feminine pads.
It was so much more comfortable, and with the wicking it felt much more clean.
I am excited to switch over completely and let others know just how much I enjoy using these!
And with that, I want to let you all know that we are now offering starter packs in our shop!
Pictured above is the Girl's Starter Pack. Each pack comes with 6 small pads, 3 medium pads, and a wet bag. The best part is that you can pick the colors you want! There are currently 15 colors to choose from and there will be a few prints available in the next month!
